Isla Dawn is officially stepping back into the ring—and her post-WWE chapter is about to begin.
Just under two months after her WWE release, Isla Dawn has been announced for her first match since leaving the company. She’s now set to appear at Northeast Wrestling’s ‘Wrestling Under The Stars’ show on Saturday, July 19, taking place at Eastwood Field in Niles, Ohio.
The announcement came via ATD Promotions, confirming that the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion is returning to the independent scene in a big way. No opponent has been revealed yet, but the date is locked—and fans already have their eyes locked on what this “new” Isla Dawn is going to bring.
This update comes hot on the heels of Dawn’s emotional and eerie Instagram video where she spoke cryptically about closing the door on her past WWE persona and hinted at a full character shift. “The White Witch is gone. The Unholy Enchantress, buried in the grave,” she said. “A two-time tag team champion—ashes in an urn. But don’t grieve for me. Isla Dawn is not dead yet.”
In the same video, she reflected on the emotions people only share once it’s too late, adding: “Did I deserve it? No. But I did need it. I was bleeding out. This was pressure. I was crashing. And this—this is what revived me. My heart stopped on the table, but someone down there sent me back up, knowing it was not quite my time.”
Dawn’s WWE journey began in 2018 with the Mae Young Classic. She gained traction in NXT UK, became a standout performer, and later transitioned to NXT and the main roster, where she found tag team success with Alba Fyre. But now, with her non-compete nearing its end, she’s making her next move clear.
Isla Dawn is no longer just recovering from her WWE run—she’s resurrecting something entirely new.
