The ongoing fallout from the Jeffrey Epstein file releases has sparked speculation across politics, business — and even WWE — with some wondering whether Vince McMahon could be mentioned in the documents.
During a Fightful Select Q&A on February 22, 2026, Sean Ross Sapp was directly asked whether there had been any concern within WWE that McMahon’s name might surface as more information becomes public. Sapp made it clear he hadn’t heard anything suggesting panic inside the company: “I heard no concerns from anyone in WWE that he would appear in the Epstein files.”
He also admitted that, from a broader perspective, he was somewhat surprised McMahon hadn’t appeared — but clarified he wasn’t implying anything criminal.
“I'm honestly surprised he didn't, and not even for nefarious reasons. It seemed like a bit of everything got mentioned in there, down to Bruno Sammartino's passing.”
This is a major contrast with the broader political discussion that Kevin Nash raised on Kliq This, where Nash criticized the handling of the Epstein files and called for more transparency.
“We’re starting to get some stuff, but there’s nothing. 1,400. Like we never went….come on! Trump said two, three days ago, on Monday, ‘I’m not in this. Therefore, there’s no reason to keep beating this horse.’ I’m thinking, well, except for the 1,400 victims that would like to see some justice. It was supposed to be delivered at a certain date, which I believe was like 45 days later, and you put 13,000 pages out when 3.3 just got delivered at the beginning of the week. It was like the Eiffel Tower of paperwork. So instead of actually going through it, you know what we’ll do? We’ll just redact everything. It’s so much easier just to redact everything.”
Right now, there’s still zero indication that Vince McMahon is connected to the Epstein file disclosures, and there hasn’t been any internal panic within WWE about it either. Still, with more documents expected and public pressure growing for transparency, this story isn’t fading anytime soon.
If additional names surface, the conversation could shift quickly — especially given how closely the wrestling world watches anything tied to McMahon.
Do you think this situation is truly settled for WWE, or could more fallout be coming as additional files are reviewed? Let us know your thoughts.
