Internal Reaction to Zelina Vega’s WWE Women’s United States Title Win Revealed

The April 25 episode of WWE SmackDown surpassed all expectations, with Zelina Vega finally winning the Women’s United States Championship and now, the internal reaction to her win has been revealed.

According to PWInsider, a lot of people backstage were happy for Zelina Vega after her Women’s United States Championship win on SmackDown. It was even more special because it happened on the same night her husband Aleister Black, returned, allowing him to be there and see her big moment in person.

In the final moments of the match, Piper Niven tried to distract Zelina Vega, but it didn’t help her win. Piper then tripped Vega as she went for a 6-1-9. After that, the referee caught Alba Fyre trying to interfere and kicked both Piper and Alba out from ringside.

At the very end, Zelina Vega hit a Code Red and managed to get the pinfall. With that, Zelina Vega won her first WWE singles title and she would end up celebrating her huge win with Aleister Black in the back.

This was a long time coming for Zelina Vega as fans had been hoping to see her win a singles title for many years now. Now that she’s the Women’s United States Champion, we’ll have to wait and see how she will be booked as the champion in the coming weeks.
