A wild Women’s Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match on the February 16 WWE Raw had fans lighting up social media — but it wasn’t just the finish that got people talking.

The triple threat bout featuring Asuka, Bayley, and Natalya included several noticeable miscues, from awkward suplex landings to a Doomsday Body Press that didn’t quite connect the way it was intended. The timing felt off at points, and viewers immediately picked up on it. Naturally, that led to questions about what happened backstage after the cameras stopped rolling.

According to Fightful Select, despite the visible hiccups during the match, there has been no indication that any of the competitors drew heat or faced internal issues as a result of the mistakes. In other words, no drama behind the curtain.

It appears to have simply been one of those nights where things didn’t click perfectly inside the ropes.

Even with the rough patches, the match still delivered a clear result. Asuka forced Bayley to tap out to the Asuka Lock, punching her ticket to the 2026 Women’s Elimination Chamber Match.

That win officially sends Asuka to the Elimination Chamber premium live event on Saturday, February 28, at the United Center in Chicago. The event will stream live on the ESPN App in the United States and on Netflix internationally.
