Interesting Name Spotted Backstage at 9/30 WWE NXT

The September 30, 2025 edition of WWE NXT had a lot of things going for it, since it was clearly produced by some of the best minds in the business. With that in mind, a very interesting name was backstage at the show as well.

According to a report by PWInsider, Bobby Roode was backstage at last night’s WWE NXT tapings, keeping up his work as one of WWE’s main producers over the past few months.

Bobby Roode became a producer back in 2023 after he underwent neck surgery and was ultimately forced to retire from in-ring competition. Since then, Roode has truly become one of the company’s best producers, as he has helped put together some of the best aspects of WWE programming.

That’s not all as Bobby Roode even made an appearance during September 16th Homecoming edition of WWE NXT.

Nonetheless, Roode’s wrestling career ended earlier than expected, but his influence in WWE is now bigger than ever. As a producer, he helps create the matches and guide the talent that fans watch each week. His work behind the scenes has made WWE’s product better and that’s all that matters in the end.
