Injuries can happen at any time in professional wrestling, and NXT is no different. Dante Chen had been out since earlier this year because of an injury and now it appears he made his return during an NXT live event this week.

Dante Chen took to Twitter and stated that he’s finally back in the ring after being sidelined for over four months due to injury, as he competed against Oba Femi for the NXT Championship during a live event in Lakeland, Florida.

Dante Chen revealed his excitement about being back in action and mentioned that he couldn’t think of a better way to test himself than by stepping into a big opportunity right away, saying, “It’s been over 4 months since my last match. Happy to be back in action. ⌛️ No better way than to test myself than with a huge opportunity.”

Dante Chen was written off WWE television following his match against Ethan Page during the January 14th edition of WWE NXT, where Page brutally attacked him. Afterwards, Chen would get surgery for his injury and now he’s finally back in action.
