Independent tag team stars The Premier, known for tearing it up in the Kansas City wrestling scene, were involved in a terrifying car accident that left both members hospitalized.

Campbell Myers revealed on Twitter that he and his partner Bishop were traveling to a show in Indiana when another driver entered their lane and struck them head-on. Myers explained that Bishop sustained multiple injuries, while he underwent a lengthy surgery in Indianapolis to repair serious damage.

“Bishop and I got in a pretty bad car wreck on our way to a show in Indiana on Saturday. The other person was going the wrong way in our lane and hit us head-on. Bishop is pretty beat up, and I had a seven-hour (successful) operation yesterday in Indianapolis to fix a broken arm and get plates and screws in my pelvis.”

Despite the devastating crash, Myers acknowledged that both men were fortunate to survive. He credited the doctors, nurses, and loved ones around him for their support while also vowing to work tirelessly toward a full recovery.

“All things considered, we got very lucky. I’m in a lot of pain right now but am super thankful for my friends, family, nurses, and doctors for their part in getting me taken care of. It goes without saying that I will be on the shelf for a while, but I plan on attacking PT and doing everything in my power to set up a successful return down the line.”

While sidelined, Myers encouraged fans to support The Premier by purchasing merchandise and continuing to support the promotions they wrestle for.

“In the meantime, you can support The Premier by buying merch (I’ll make sure to link some to this thread later) and supporting the companies we work for.”

The wrestling community has already rallied behind The Premier, sending well wishes and prayers for both Myers and Bishop as they recover. Their determination to return stronger has fans holding out hope that this setback is only temporary.
