Indie star Nikki Blackheart is reportedly WWE-bound after impressing company officials during a recent tryout in Orlando.

According to BodySlam.net on March 12, 2026, Blackheart has signed with WWE following her participation in the company’s February tryouts. The report states that officials were impressed with her performance, which led to WWE moving quickly to secure her signature. Blackheart is expected to report to the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida in the near future as she begins her next chapter with the company.

Blackheart hails from the Dominican Republic and was trained through Florida’s Coastal Championship Wrestling system. She has built a name for herself on the independent scene since making her debut in 2024 and is currently recognized as the reigning CCW Women’s Champion.

Blackheart also recently held the MPX Women’s Championship before losing the title to Priscilla Kelly on March 7. During her time on the independent circuit, she has shared the ring with several notable names, including Harley Cameron, Abadon, and Aleah James.

This comes after WWE recently confirmed several new recruits earlier this week, announcing signings for Ahmed Essam, Delia Schweizer, Ellen B. Akesson, and Rayne Leverkusen. If the report holds true, Nikki Blackheart could soon be the next rising talent to begin training within WWE’s developmental system.
