Josh Crane just had a major “DANGER” moment on national TV—and fans are loving it.
The indie wrestler took to Twitter and revealed that he was the security guard who got flattened by Hangman Page’s Buckshot Lariat during the December 3rd episode of AEW Dynamite.
“DANGER vs Hangman will happen one day,” Crane wrote, confirming he was the final guard who took the full brunt of Page’s finisher—and teasing a potential future match in the process.
Crane wasn’t done there. In another tweet, he talked about the moment and how much it meant to him as an independent wrestler trying to climb the ranks:
“Tonight, I was able to work at an AEW event locally! I heard voices saying ‘DANGER!’ and ‘Josh!!’ from all over the place. I could feel the entire venue filled with energy. Every week, new goals are being achieved, and the DANGER spirit is spreading!”
So how did this all go down? During AEW Dynamite, Hangman Page escalated his feud with The Opps by smashing a beer bottle over Powerhouse Hobbs’ head. When he went for the Buckshot Lariat, security rushed in to shut things down—except Page wasn’t having it. He destroyed every guard in sight, one by one, before dropping Josh Crane with the Buckshot to end the segment.
Now that Crane has stepped into the limelight and gotten a taste of the AEW experience, fans are already calling for him to get a real match—maybe even against the man who took his head off.
