Trick Williams won the TNA World Championship at Battleground last month and he immediately declared that TNA would not be called Trick-NA. Fans have been wondering who came up with that name and the identity of the person behind the name has been revealed.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, Tommy Dreamer said that “Trick-NA” is an awesome idea. He admitted he didn’t come up with it himself, since Trick Williams was the one who came up with it and called it brilliant, saying, “The Trick-NA. That is awesome. I wish I thought of it, I did not. He [Trick Williams] did. It’s brilliant.” It is to be noted that Tommy Dreamer is part of the TNA Creative team as well.

Trick Williams has been absolutely dominant since winning the TNA World Title and he successfully retained the World Championship against Mike Santana on the June 3rd edition of NXT. Of course, he did get some help from AJ Francis and KC Navarro to make that happen.

Trick Williams will now defend the TNA World Championship against Elijah at the upcoming TNA Against All Odds pay-per-view on June 6th, and Williams is more than ready to make sure fans call the company “Trick-NA” more often.
