It’s common for WWE to use local indie talent for various segments whenever they visit a city for a show. During the March 10th episode of Raw, Jey Uso had a segment in the trainer’s room, which included a nurse. In fact, the identity of the nurse has been revealed.
As seen during this week’s episode of Monday Night Raw, Jey Uso managed to defeat Grayson Waller in singles competition, but GUNTHER would sneak up on him and choke him out. Afterwards, Jey Uso was seen in the trainer’s room, where Alpha Academy told him they had his back. The segment also featured a nurse who handed Jey Uso an ice pack, and fans started wondering who she was.
As it turns out, the nurse is none other than indie wrestler “The Bad Chick” Vicki Venuto. She took to Twitter and reacted to her appearance during Monday Night Raw, revealing to Shane Helms that she is a former EMT, saying, “Former EMT at your service.”
Vicki Venuto has wrestled in many promotions throughout her career. She is well-known for competing in Pro Wrestling Magic, where she hopes to win the PWM Women’s World Championship. Besides Pro Wrestling Magic, Vicki will also return to Awesome Championship Wrestling for their “Aftershock” event on May 17th at the MJN Center in Poughkeepsie, NY.
As she gains more attention, her WWE cameo could lead to bigger wrestling opportunities. Since WWE often looks for indie talent, Venuto’s appearance on Raw might be just the beginning. We’ll have to wait and see if she eventually joins WWE.
