Dax Harwood’s no stranger to tension, but things hit a whole new level on the September 10 episode of AEW Dynamite. During the show, Harwood stormed out of the ring and got into a heated shouting match with a fan at ringside — and now we know exactly who that fan was.

The in-your-face moment went down when Harwood began taunting the Philly crowd, daring someone to step up. One fan didn’t back down, yelling for Harwood to try and block him on Twitter and even threatening to fight him. Harwood, never one to walk away from a challenge, got right in his face before being pulled away as security stepped in and the segment ended.

Shortly after the show aired, the fan came forward online. Known as Brandon the Heel, he took to Twitter to confirm that he was the one going at it with Harwood. He shared footage of the confrontation and didn’t mince words: “F** Dax. F*** FTR. #AEWDynamite.”*

When another user tried to clown him by saying Harwood made him look soft on national TV, Brandon fired back: “B? Not at all.”

Speculation immediately swirled that the fan might’ve been a plant — but based on how it all unfolded and Brandon’s public comments, that clearly wasn’t the case. He was just a regular fan who went to Dynamite and ended up going face-to-face with a former AEW Tag Team Champion.

Whether AEW planned for the moment to blow up this way or not, it’s got fans talking. Brandon probably won’t be ringside again anytime soon — but one thing’s for sure: Dax Harwood’s crowd energy is as real as it gets.
