Hulk Hogan has always been a strong supporter of Donald Trump, and with Trump now serving as President, it’s no surprise that Hogan put on a show during the FOX News broadcast of the Presidential Liberty Ball. Staying true to his larger-than-life character, the Hulkster performed his signature shirt-tearing moment as he celebrated Trump’s inauguration.
Hulk Hogan appeared on FOX News during the Presidential Liberty Ball broadcast on Monday night. While he had previously teased attending President Donald Trump’s inauguration ceremony, he instead joined Jesse Watters for an interview.
During the segment, Hogan showed his frustration with the state of the country and joked that people might not recognize him in a suit. To make sure there was no confusion, he tore off his suit, comparing it to feeling restricted by the previous administration.
As Boston’s More Than A Feeling played, Hogan ripped off his clothes while passionately talking about issues like gas prices and border security. He not only tore off his sleeves, but also tore off his “Real American Beer” t-shirt to reveal a “Trumpamania” t-shirt for good measure. He then declared that he just had to do it since that’s just what he does.
“You know, Jesse, this suit is holding me down, just like that four-year Biden administration! The lies, the cheating, all that stuff going on. I feel like the veil has been lifted and the dark cloud — if I wasn’t so tired, I’d rip all my clothes off! Protect our border! Lower gas prices!
[After tearing his shirt] I had a moment, brother! I just had to do that.”
Fans and political commentators had mixed reactions to Hogan’s actions on FOX News. Some thought it was a fun way to support Trump, while others saw it as Hogan making a political statement. No matter what people think, it was clear that Hulkamania was alive and well during the show.
