Sky Daily Hogan has finally broken her silence following the death of her husband, WWE icon Hulk Hogan.
In a deeply emotional Instagram post shared on July 25, she reflected on the pain of losing the man she called her heart and partner, while giving fans a glimpse into their private final chapter.
The post, accompanied by a photo of her kissing Hogan on the cheek, captured the raw emotion behind her grief. Sky admitted that even though Hogan had been battling health issues, she never expected things to end this way. She spoke about believing in Hogan’s strength and holding onto hope that he would recover.
“Wasn’t ready for this… and my heart is in pieces. He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time.”
While the world mourns the loss of a wrestling legend, Sky reminded everyone that behind the character was a man she loved deeply.
“To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart.”
She also honored Hogan’s enduring commitment to his fans, noting that even in discomfort, he made every effort to show up and connect with those who supported him.
“Despite his growing physical discomfort, he did everything he could to show up, sign autographs, take photos, and connect with the people who supported him through it all. You meant everything to him.”
Sky ended the message by saying she finds peace in Hogan’s faith, and asked for prayers as the family copes with this loss.
“He was a believer in Christ, and I take comfort knowing his soul is at peace and he’s been welcomed home. Please keep his family and all of us who loved him in your prayers as we try to navigate this new reality.”
Hogan passed away at the age of 71 on the morning of July 25 after suffering cardiac arrest. As reported earlier, he had been dealing with renal failure, fluid overload, and severe COPD following neck surgery on May 14. Hogan had been treated at Tampa General Hospital before being moved home, where doctors reportedly set up a hospital-like environment due to the severity of his condition.
In his final week, Hogan’s condition worsened and he lost the ability to speak, with one source describing the situation as beyond what anyone outside his inner circle truly knew. Sky’s message offers a rare glimpse into Hogan’s final days and the woman who stood by his side when the cameras were off..
