Hulk Hogan’s death at 71 has left the wrestling world stunned—and now legal drama could be brewing behind the scenes.

According to The U.S. Sun, Hogan’s third wife Sky Daily stands to inherit at least 30% of his estate under Florida law, whether or not his trust or will were updated before his sudden passing.

Hogan and Sky had only been married for two years, but Florida’s spousal elective share law guarantees her a third of his estate regardless of what’s in his legal documents. That inheritance could create serious tension with Hogan’s ex-wives and estranged daughter, Brooke Hogan, who he hadn’t spoken to in years and never met her twin babies born earlier this year. Estate law expert June Frederiksen explained how it works:

“Even if Sky was left out of his estate and he didn’t update his trust since they married, she would still get a spousal elective share, which she is entitled to 30% in Florida.”

Before his death, Hogan had set up both a revocable and a personal trust, a move experts say was likely part of a detailed estate plan to keep the matter out of court. Still, if certain assets weren’t placed in the trusts—or if someone contests the terms—things could get complicated.

“If Brooke is left out of the will, she can contest it,” Frederiksen warned, adding that the case would then land in probate court.

Hogan’s estate is worth around $25 million and includes a massive $11.5 million mansion in Clearwater, Florida, multiple businesses like Hogan’s Beach Shop and Hogan’s Hangout, and even his Real American Beer brand. Sky Hogan shared an emotional tribute on Instagram shortly after her husband’s death.

“My heart is in pieces. I wasn’t ready for this. He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time… This loss is sudden and impossible to process. To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart.”

Hulk Hogan passed away following cardiac arrest at his Florida mansion. Despite paramedics’ efforts to revive him for over 30 minutes, he was pronounced dead at the hospital. With estate drama potentially looming, Hogan’s legacy could soon be tested by court battles, old family wounds, and questions over what he left behind.
