Jesse Ventura’s absence from Saturday Night’s Main Event hasn’t gone unnoticed—but a new report suggests it wasn’t just one offhand comment that caused trouble.

According to Fightful Select, Hulk Hogan’s name came up behind the scenes as a major factor in Ventura being left off the most recent broadcast.

Ventura was missing from the November 1, 2025 episode of SNME, despite regularly appearing on earlier shows. While WWE hasn’t officially explained the situation, Dave Meltzer noted Ventura’s future with the program is uncertain after his blunt on-air criticism of a match finish months ago. That moment—where he questioned the logic of winning a cage match by walking through the door—rubbed WWE management the wrong way.

But Fightful Select now reports the real story is more layered. Sources claim multiple reasons factored into Ventura being removed from the show, and one of them involved Hogan.

“We’re told there were a variety of reasons he wasn’t used on Saturday Night’s Main Event, including his critical commentary of the first show, and the fact that Hulk Hogan had originally been planned for an edition of the program.”

Jesse Ventura’s mouth may have finally written a check WWE didn’t feel like cashing—and with Hulk Hogan’s name creeping into the story, it’s hard not to feel like there’s more smoke than fire here. Whether it was ego, politics, or just clashing philosophies, Ventura’s run on Saturday Night’s Main Event looks like it’s in the rearview mirror.

Do you think Ventura should’ve stayed on the show—or did WWE make the right call by pulling him? Drop your thoughts in the comments below.
