One of Hulk Hogan’s most iconic in-ring artifacts just sold for a massive price—less than a year after the wrestling legend’s death.

Auction house Goldin confirmed that a left wrestling boot worn by “Hollywood” Hulk Hogan during his legendary WrestleMania X8 match against The Rock was sold on February 8, 2026 for $146,400, including the buyer’s premium. The winning bid came in at $120,000, with a 22% buyer’s fee tacked on to seal the deal.

The boot, which features Hogan’s face emblazoned on a blue-and-white flame design, was also signed and inscribed by the Hall of Famer before his passing, with messages that read “Hollywood” and “4 Life” in black marker across the side.

“Hogan wore this exact boot during his March 17, 2002 match against Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson at WrestleMania X8 inside Toronto’s SkyDome,” Goldin noted in the listing, confirming its authenticity through a photo-match by Davious Sports and signature verification by JSA.

The bout—considered one of the most electric matches in wrestling history—marked Hogan’s first WrestleMania appearance since 1993 and the final WrestleMania of the Attitude Era. Despite being cast as the heel, Hogan was cheered by the Toronto crowd in a surreal atmosphere. After losing to The Rock, the match ended with a legendary show of respect and a post-match face turn that reignited Hogan’s babyface run.

The boot showed visible signs of use, including cracked paint, creasing, and worn tread—testament to its authenticity and the physical toll of that legendary encounter. With 36 bids placed and shipping now underway, this piece of wrestling history has found a new home—serving as a tribute to both Hogan’s legacy and a moment that defined an era.
