The shocking death of wrestling legend Hulk Hogan has taken another unexpected turn, with new details suggesting his passing may not have been from natural causes.

According to TMZ, Hogan’s wife, Sky, revealed that his “phrenic nerve was compromised” during a recent surgery. The outlet also reported that an autopsy has already been performed, though the results have not yet been released. Hogan’s body has also not been cremated.

Law enforcement sources said that the Clearwater Police Department’s report on the 911 call from Hogan’s home is currently on “lockdown.” Still, crucial details have surfaced. The report reveals that an occupational therapist was present when Hogan stopped breathing.

“According to the report — which is on ‘lockdown’ — the therapist told responding officers Hulk was the victim of medical malpractice. The therapist says during a recent operation — it’s unclear if it was the surgery to repair his heart or a neck procedure — the surgeon ‘severed’ his phrenic nerve.”

The phrenic nerve plays a vital role in stimulating the diaphragm, which controls breathing. Sources say Hogan didn’t suffer a chest-clutching episode like a typical heart attack. Instead, “he merely stopped breathing.”

Sky was the one who reportedly sounded the alarm when Hogan’s breathing suddenly halted, triggering the 911 call that brought emergency responders to their Florida home.

This revelation adds to Hogan’s death, which has already sparked debate and speculation. With the autopsy results still under wraps, questions about whether medical malpractice was involved remain unanswered.
