Kendrick Lamar delivered a massive performance at the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show, but don’t expect Hulk Hogan to be adding it to his playlist anytime soon.

The WWE Hall of Famer shared his thoughts on the performance while speaking to Fox News, admitting he had no idea what was happening.

“Bro, I couldn’t understand a word that was being said, man. I had my volume turned up. I had a bunch of people yelling and screaming at the house, and I really didn’t know what was going on, man,” Hogan said.

Apparently, he was expecting something very different. “I was waiting for Willie Nelson to come out, man, and sing America the Beautiful or something.”

When the host asked if Hogan would like to see Nelson perform at a future Super Bowl Halftime Show—especially now that Donald Trump is back as United States President—Hogan didn’t hesitate. “Yeah, that would be great!” he responded.

Hogan’s take is already sparking debate, with some saying he’s just out of touch, while others agree that the Super Bowl Halftime Show could use a country music legend like Nelson.

Love him or hate him, Hogan never holds back, and this time, he’s got the Super Bowl Halftime Show in his sights. While Kendrick Lamar had the stadium rocking, the Hulkster was left scratching his head, waiting for a country legend to take the stage.

Is this just another case of Hulk Hogan being stuck in the past, or does he have a point about the Super Bowl? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comment section below.
