Hulk Hogan is facing legal trouble after a woman in Akron, Ohio, filed a lawsuit against him and Real American Beer, claiming she was injured at a promotional event.
The lawsuit, filed on February 10, 2025, alleges that Hogan and other unnamed promoters were tossing free beer cans into the crowd at Thirsty Cowboys on August 19, 2024, when one struck Michelle Harlukowicz in the head, leaving her with a deep wound that required 10 stitches.
“It’s unconscionable to think that you’re going to go to a bar to see a celebrity and end up being pelted with a can of beer,” said Harlukowicz’s attorney, Eric Tayfel, in a statement to Fox 8.
According to the lawsuit, Hogan or another promoter was responsible for throwing the can. Medina Township Police responded to the incident but did not file charges, as officers could not determine exactly who threw it.
“She had an open wound to her forehead. It was pretty big. She ended up needing a number of stitches to her head, and she’s going to have some permanent scarring from that,” Tayfel added.
Harlukowicz is suing for damages related to medical expenses, pain and suffering, and emotional distress.
With Hogan and Real American Beer now facing legal action, this lawsuit could put a serious dent in his latest business venture.
