Hulk Hogan was public enemy #1 during RAW’s Netflix debut on January 6, where fans loudly booed everything Hogan had to say. Despite this, many fans expected him to appear at the Saturday Night’s Main Event show this week but it appears that won’t be happening anymore.
According to Chris Featherstone, who has broken multiple stories lately, Hulk Hogan will not be making an appearance at Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 25th due to family commitments, saying, “I’ve been informed that Hulk Hogan will not be appearing on #SNME due to family commitments.”
The WWE Hall of Famer already promoted the upcoming event in San Antonio, Texas as well, so it was more or less a given that he was going to be there for the show one way or the other. However, that’s clearly not going to happen anymore and some fans feel the backlash he received on RAW may have played a role in this but there’s no confirmation about that notion.
On the other hand, Jesse Ventura has already confirmed he will be appearing for Saturday Night’s Main Event this week, so fans can at least look forward to his iconic commentary during the show. Regardless, some fans will undoubtedly miss not being able to see Hogan during the event.
