Hulk Hogan Names Seth Rollins a Favorite—Even After Rollins Trashed Him

Seth Rollins has never been shy about sharing his opinions on people in the wrestling business, whether he admires them or dislikes them. He has a well-documented hatred for Hulk Hogan, often criticizing the WWE Hall of Famer. However, despite Rollins constantly trashing him, Hogan recently named him as one of his favorites.

As revealed by footage making rounds online, Hulk Hogan took part in a Meet and Greet during a Real American Beer event. One fan asked him to name his current favorite wrestler. The Hulkster named Drew McIntyre and then surprisingly Seth Rollins, something that fans definitely didn’t expect, as he said, “Who’s my favorite wrestler right now? It’s Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins.”

This comes after Seth Rollins previously talked about how fans booed Hulk Hogan on the January 6th episode of RAW. He said that when a big crowd reacts that way, there’s usually a reason. Rollins wasn’t sure if Hogan understood why it happened, but he believed people eventually face the results of their actions. He made it clear that, in his opinion, Hogan deserved the boos.

“I am all for people getting what they deserve, and that’s exactly how I feel about Hulk Hogan getting booed. If you’re getting booed by the masses, there’s a reason for that. I don’t know if Hulk fully understands the scope of it, but people get what they deserve, so I’m happy to see it.

I’ve said this before about the Hulkster—he’s the guy that got me into the industry in terms of my love for professional wrestling, so I’ll never take that away from him. What he’s done for our business is undeniable, and I’ll never discredit that. But I do think there’s some responsibility he needs to own up to that he hasn’t yet. Maybe when he finally figures that out, he can move forward with the fans. Let’s see.”

That was not all, as The Visionary previously ripped the WWE Hall of Famer for not owning up to his actions, which are linked to Hogan’s 2015 racist remarks scandal and lack of accountability.

Since Rollins and Hogan have a history of not getting along, it’s unclear if Rollins will respond or keep ignoring Hogan. Either way, fans are talking a lot about this surprising situation and it will not stop anytime soon.
