Hulk Hogan never fails to draw attention in and outside the world of professional wrestling, whether it’s positive or negative. During WWE RAW’s Netflix debut on January 6, fans loudly booed everything Hogan had to say and it was a shocker for many. However, it appears that he is set to appear at the upcoming Saturday Night’s Main Event show, despite the negative reaction he received.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that Hulk Hogan will be making an appearance as part of the Saturday Night’s Main Event show on January 25, 2025, live from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, TX.

Meltzer admitted he wasn’t sure how WWE would handle it and pointed out how the crowd booed loudly when Hogan appeared on screen, so WWE might be taking a risk if they have him appear live.

“So Hogan’s gonna be on that show, the January 25. When Hogan was shown on the screen in the building, they booed like crazy. It’s going to be interesting. Do they put him in front of the crowd and risk him being booed, or does he come out and maybe the crowd doesn’t boo?”

Jesse Ventura will also be at the event, which adds some tension. Ventura and Hogan haven’t gotten along for years because Hogan told Vince McMahon about Ventura’s plan to form a WWE talent union. Meltzer believes there won’t be any issues between them now, as Ventura is 73 and Hogan is 71, but they probably still don’t like each other.

“The other interesting one is Hogan and Jesse. I don’t expect any problems. They’re both like, you know, Jesse 73 and Hogan 71 you know? I mean, I’m sure Jesse will never like Hulk Hogan, and I don’t think Hulk Hogan will ever like Jesse.”

The WWE Hall of Famer already promoted the upcoming event in San Antonio, Texas as well. Therefore, it remains to be seen whether The Hulkster will end up getting booed at Saturday Night’s Main Event this month, as many feel that will most likely happen.
