The race to challenge Seth Rollins for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship is heating up fast—and all signs point to a major multi-man showdown. CM Punk, LA Knight, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso are all entangled in a chaotic storyline that could determine Rollins’ next opponent.

According to Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE’s current direction hints at a possible triple threat or four-way match involving Punk, Jey, and LA Knight, all of whom have strong storyline claims to a title shot.

“They all got storyline reasons. LA Knight’s the last one to beat Seth. Jey never got a rematch after he lost the title. And Punk’s been feuding with Seth all year. He beat him at WrestlePalooza and on the first Netflix show,” said Dave Meltzer.

Bryan Alvarez floated the idea of a three-way contender match:

“Yeah, I mean they could do the three-way—Punk, Jey, and LA Knight—and the winner gets the shot at Seth. But really, the way they’ve been building this up, all three of them should be getting a shot against Seth.”

Meltzer agreed a multi-man match is the likely outcome:

“They have to do probably like a… it’s another multi-person match.”

All four wrestlers have been acting like edgy, unpredictable characters, even though they’re officially babyfaces. That’s part of what makes this story stand out under Triple H’s creative vision.

“It’s a four-way feud with four babyfaces who are all assholes. It is certainly different,” Alvarez said.

“They don’t believe in clean babyfaces anymore,” Meltzer added. “Punk, LA Knight, Jey—they all have to have an edge or they don’t work in this era.”

Right now, WWE hasn’t confirmed anything. Things are getting messy in the World Title picture—and that’s exactly how Triple H wants it. CM Punk’s swagger, LA Knight’s attitude, Jey’s fire, and Jimmy’s chaos are all crashing into each other while Seth Rollins stands at the top with a target on his back. Whether WWE pulls the trigger on a triple threat, a four-way, or a shock solo showdown, the road to the title is about to get wild.
