The January 22 episode of AEW Dynamite took place in Knoxville, Tennessee this week, but there was a lot of uncertainty surrounding the show due to the extreme winter weather. In fact, even Will Ospreay was affected by travel issues caused by the weather and the reason behind him wearing street clothes during the show has been revealed.

According to a report by PWInsider, almost everyone had trouble traveling to the taping because of flight delays across the country which led to many missing their connecting flights. It was added that Will Ospreay had to wear his regular clothes because Delta lost his bags while he was switching flights in Atlanta, even though his flight was delayed for several hours.

How Will Ospreay Was Affected By Travel Chaos on 1/22 AEW Dynamite

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite saw Will Ospreay and Kenny Omega address their issues and then The Don Callis Family got involved. Eventually, Omega and Ospreay took it outside and they claimed up a lighting truss and challenged Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher to a tag team match at AEW Grand Slam Australia on February 15.

Will Ospreay wasn’t the only one affected by the terrible weather conditions as AEW had to cancel Samoa Joe and Nick Wayne’s match for this week’s Dynamite. Nonetheless, this week’s show proved how live wrestling can be unpredictable, especially when extreme weather causes problems. Despite the challenges, the show had exciting moments and helped build up future AEW events and that’s all that matters in the end.
