How Indi Hartwell Discovered She’d Be Facing Mercedes Moné Might Surprise You

Indi Hartwell had a strong run in NXT, but her time on the WWE main roster wasn’t as successful. After being released last year, she didn’t let it hold her back at all. She recently had a solid match with Mercedes Moné and has now revealed that she first found out about the match through social media.

While speaking on her vlog, Indi Hartwell revealed that she first learned about her match with Mercedes Moné at House of Glory’s City of Dreamz through social media. While at the airport waiting in line for security, she opened her phone to access her boarding pass and happened to scroll through Instagram stories.

That’s when she saw Moné’s post about the match. Surprised by the announcement, Hartwell immediately responded to the story, asking if it was really happening. It turned out that it was actually happening.

“Fun fact: I literally found out about this match by seeing her Instagram story. I was at the airport yesterday, lining up for security, and I opened my phone to get my boarding pass. I was just going through Instagram stories, and I saw her post that. I literally responded to the story and was like, ‘Uh, is this happening?’ So yeah, it’s happening.”

Mercedes Mone and Indi Hartwell had a tremendous match at House of Glory’s City of Dreamz, where Hartwell showed the world what she is made of. Hartwell lost in the end but she was able to win a lot of hearts with her performance.

Despite her performance, there is no indication AEW has any interest in signing Indi Hartwell. However, with performances like this, she could attract attention from major promotions sooner rather than later. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see what the future holds for the Australian star.
