AEW just turned up the heat with a massive international talent grab—and Hechicero is officially part of the mix.
During the January 14, 2026 episode of CMLL Informa, the company confirmed that Persephone and Máscara Dorada had both signed dual contracts with CMLL and AEW. But the action didn’t stop there. AEW President Tony Khan dropped another major announcement on social media—Hechicero is now All Elite.
Khan made it official with a post on X, adding the skilled luchador to AEW’s growing alliance with CMLL: “Hechicero is All Elite.”
A veteran of the Mexican wrestling scene, Hechicero has already appeared in AEW and ROH since 2024 and is currently aligned with The Don Callis Family, an influential faction that’s been stirring things up across both brands. His unorthodox offense and technical mastery have made him a favorite among lucha libre fans, and he now brings that style to AEW full-time.
But AEW didn’t stop there. In addition to Hechicero, the company has also signed The Rascalz—a group consisting of Dezmond Xavier, Myron Reed, Zachary Wentz, and Trey Miguel. The quartet has long been a standout unit in the indie and televised wrestling scenes, known for their high-flying chaos and undeniable chemistry.
These signings mark a serious shift in AEW’s strategy to deepen their roster with dynamic international talent, cross-promotional flexibility, and long-term storyline potential.
