Harley Cameron isn’t letting internet noise throw her off course.

During her appearance on the Lightweights podcast, the rising AEW star got real about how she handles online attention — and why she keeps a healthy distance from social media.

“I’m not a huge person when it comes to, um, like online, like looking at stuff online and that kind of thing… In Australia, Twitter’s not even—like, no one has Twitter. So I’ve been learning how to use Twitter the last few years,” Harley admitted.

She also confessed she doesn’t tweet much at all: “I don’t think I’ve ever written on Twitter. I just reshare photos.”

Despite being a hot topic on wrestling Twitter, Cameron said she rarely sees it unless someone points it out. “You blew up all over my Twitter,” the host noted, to which Harley replied, “Really? See, I don’t know. I don’t know these algorithm things. But I do know that the community online is very passionate about wrestling.”

But don’t expect her to go diving into online threads. “I’ve kind of stayed a little bit away from it just because—to be honest—I know that there’s a lot of bullying and criticism that comes with being in this industry,” she explained. “So I’ve always just kept, like, what I like to think is a healthy distance with reading too much on the internet.”

Still, Harley isn’t blind to the support fans have shown her. When told fans have expressed their love online, she reacted with a laugh: “Oh my gosh.” She added, “Hopefully things are positive.”

Whether it’s hearing her catchphrases chanted or seeing signs in the crowd, those in-person moments are what hit the hardest for her. Even if she’s not glued to her phone, she feels the connection where it counts.
