The Hardy Boyz haven’t been seen on WWE TV for quite a while— but Matt Hardy says more is coming.

While speaking to Metro UK on February 15, 2026, Matt and Jeff Hardy addressed their WWE future and made it clear that even though they remain full-time TNA stars, discussions with WWE are ongoing. Matt revealed: “We’re in constant negotiations with WWE about doing some more stuff. We will do more with them.”

The Hardys haven’t appeared on WWE programming since dropping the NXT Tag Team Titles to DarkState in October 2025. Since then, they’ve continued working primarily with TNA. However, according to Matt, the working relationship between the companies — and with WWE leadership — has been positive. He explained why staying with TNA full-time was important at this stage of their careers:

“It was very important to us to stay at TNA as opposed to becoming a WWE full-time act [again]. In TNA, we’re going to be put in a position to succeed, and we can contribute, and we can help the company grow and be better.”

Matt also praised WWE officials directly, pointing to strong communication behind the scenes. While he didn’t confirm specific dates or events, Matt made it clear fans should expect more crossover moments before the year ends.

“And the relationship with WWE has been great. Anytime we’ve interacted with Shawn Michaels, he was absolutely awesome – Triple H, whoever, we’ve got along with everybody really good. I think you’re going to see some more cool Hardy Boyz moments in WWE before it’s all said and done in 2026.”

So while they remain committed to TNA, the Hardys are keeping their WWE ties active — and it sounds like appearances could happen sooner rather than later.
