Fans who noticed Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy missing from the WWE 2K26 base roster finally have their answer. The legendary tag team is officially coming to the game — just not right away.

WWE Games confirmed that The Hardy Boyz will return to the franchise as part of the Ringside Pass Season 4 DLC pack. The announcement came from the official WWE Games account on X, which revealed the lineup for the upcoming downloadable content.

According to the announcement, the pack is expected to arrive between July and September 2026 and will also include musician Jelly Roll along with AAA star Lady Shani. Their addition stands out because both brothers have been absent from the video game series for several years. Jeff Hardy last appeared in WWE 2K22, while Matt Hardy hasn’t been playable since WWE 2K20.

The DLC announcement arrives at a time when both men remain active in the wrestling world. The Hardy Boyz are currently competing in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling, and they even made appearances on WWE NXT last year. Their continued visibility across promotions has kept interest high among fans who grew up watching the team dominate the tag team division.

The Hardy Boyz aren’t the only big names joining WWE 2K26 through DLC packs. Former WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly is also set to return to the franchise. She will be included in the Ringside Pass Season 2 DLC pack alongside members of the legendary Demolition faction. The Season 2 pack will feature Ax, Smash, and Crush and is expected to release between April and June.

Another notable addition arrives in Season 3. WWE Hall of Famer Torrie Wilson will return to the video game world alongside Matt Cardona, La Parka, and Brian Pillman. Wilson’s appearance marks her first time in a WWE video game since SmackDown vs. Raw 2008.

Several additional legends have also been confirmed for WWE 2K26. The list includes Brie Bella, Bam Bam Bigelow, Earthquake, and Typhoon. The game will also bring new AAA talent into the franchise with Octagon Jr. and Princess Tibetana joining the playable roster.

Even with those announcements, the DLC lineup isn’t completely finished yet. Two additional slots remain open — one in the Season 4 pack and another in Season 5 — which has already sparked speculation among fans about who could still be added.

WWE 2K26 officially launches on March 13, 2026. Players who purchased special editions of the game already have early access. Now that the Hardy Boyz are officially confirmed for DLC, fans of the long-running tag team will once again be able to recreate classic ladder matches and tag team rivalries inside the WWE video game universe.
