AEW is stacking the deck for the November 5th edition of Dynamite, and Hangman Page is walking straight into enemy territory. He’ll team up with HOOK and Eddie Kingston to take on The Opps—Samoa Joe, Katsuyori Shibata, and Powerhouse Hobbs—in what promises to be a chaotic six-man collision.
Despite The Opps currently holding the AEW Trios Championships, the belts won’t be on the line for this match. Still, there’s plenty at stake, especially with Hangman and Joe locked in for an AEW World Title match at Full Gear. Their bad blood is heating up fast after Joe earned his shot by choking out HOOK to win a four-way match at AEW Fright Night Dynamite, which also featured Bobby Lashley and Ricochet.
That finish—Joe forcing HOOK to tap—sent a clear message. Now HOOK is getting a shot at redemption, but he’s not alone. With Kingston’s grit and Hangman’s unhinged brawler energy in the mix, the odds are far from settled.
Also announced for the November 5th Dynamite card is a first-round clash in the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament: Mercedes Moné & Athena will face the powerhouse team of Harley Cameron & Willow Nightingale—known as the Babes of Wrath.
With rivalries overlapping and Full Gear looming, this Dynamite could tilt the balance in AEW’s power structure.
Will Hangman get the upper hand on Joe before Full Gear? Or will The Opps steamroll their way through another AEW trio? Sound off with your thoughts in the comments below.
