GUNTHER Reveals How Wife Jinny Supports Him Behind the Scenes

WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER rarely speaks publicly about his personal life, but he recently shared a rare look at how important his wife, former NXT UK star Jinny, has been throughout his wrestling career.

GUNTHER and Jinny tied the knot in 2022 and welcomed their first child in December 2023. Despite the demanding WWE travel schedule that keeps him on the road for long stretches, GUNTHER revealed that his home life has remained a major source of stability and support.

During a recent appearance on Cody Rhodes’ What Do You Wanna Talk About? podcast, GUNTHER was asked about the people closest to him when he needs advice or someone to talk to. He named two people in particular: Ludwig Kaiser and his wife Jinny.

While discussing Jinny’s role in his life, GUNTHER explained that her own wrestling background has helped her understand the demands of the business.

“She wrestled herself and she had to stop. I feel like a lot of people can turn bitter on it, but she doesn’t. We’re in a different stage in our life too and everything. But she loves it for me.”

GUNTHER also pointed out that having a supportive partner at home can make a huge difference for wrestlers dealing with constant travel and long stretches away from family.

“I’m a very blessed person because I know sometimes for guys, it’s hard with their other half at home, with the travel and being away. I don’t have that issue.”

The WWE star then revealed that he is currently spending an extended period away from his family while they remain in England, but he says the support he receives from Jinny has never wavered.

“Even right now, I’m not seeing them for a month because they’re still in England, but it’s never a headache or anything. All I hear is support and, ‘Go get it,’ and all of that.”

According to GUNTHER, having that kind of understanding at home is one of the biggest factors in allowing him to focus on his career at the highest level.

“That’s a very important factor by the way. If the home is not a supportive environment then that anchors you a lot. So that’s a big game changer for me.”

GUNTHER has become one of WWE’s most dominant competitors in recent years, and he made it clear that the stability in his personal life plays a major role in that success.
