The November 17 episode of WWE RAW saw the Last Time Is Now tournament continue. Those men all want to be John Cena’s last opponent, especially since he has the IC Title now.

WWE drew attention when they introduced a 16-man tournament titled “The Last Time is Now” to determine the final opponent for John Cena’s retirement match on December 13th.

The Last Time Is Now Tournament matches on WWE RAW this week included GUNTHER vs. Je’Von Evans and Solo Sikoa vs. a mystery opponent.

Solo Sikoa didn’t expect to see Dolph Ziggler show up on RAW this week, but that’s what happened. Then, Solo was able to put Ziggler away with a Samoan Spike after he had quite a match against the Show Off.

GUNTHER and Je’Von Evans showed up to put on an incredible match in MSG. In the end, the Ring General was able to put away the Young OG, but this didn’t come without a huge fight, and an impressive showing from the NXT standout.

This was quite a match, and it gave GUNTHER a chance to work with one of NXT’s brightest stars. Although GUNTHER did dominate, he had to deal with Evans throwing everything he could at him, including a couple strong offensive moves. However, GUNTHER caught Evans off a suicide dive and smashed him against the apron to maintain control.

GUNTHER ate a ton of offense from Je’Von Evans near the end. Then Evans was able to kick out after taking a powerbomb. Then GUNTHER latched on the sleeper hold, and Evans faded, but he tried to fight out. Finally, the referee called for the bell.

GUNTHER’s last match before tonight took place on August 2, 2025, at WWE SummerSlam, where CM Punk defeated him for the WWE World Heavyweight Title. Of course, Seth Rollins then cashed in on Punk to take the title for a while.
