The December 15 episode of WWE RAW went down at the GIANT Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. This was a special show as WWE ushered in an era without John Cena, and GUNTHER was right there in the mix.

The Ring General beat John Cena during Saturday Night’s Main Event, and he had a ton of heat on him after that. The night opened up with a great highlight video of that match, and then GUNTHER came out to rub it in.

GUNTHER made his way to the ring with a ton of heat on him, and he made his way around to stand on the announce table so he could soak it all up.

Fans didn’t let GUNTHER get a sentence out without drowning him out with boos. He proclaimed about making John Cena give up, which is what he set out to do. As GUNTHER said that Cena “tapped out like a little bitch,” he dropped the microphone and left the ring. Then he walked back to another round of boos before posing at the turnbuckle. The ring was GUNTHER’s, and he was doing whatever he wanted at that point. GUNTHER made another victory lap and posed on the announce table as he cut another short promo about making Cena tap out like a little bitch. He said that it is his time now, and he will always be the man who made Cena give up.

Fans chanted “you suck” at GUNTHER, but he just laughed and left once again. GUNTHER went backstage, where Otis and Tozawa weren’t happy with him, and neither was R-Truth, who called him a “piece of trash.” Then RAW General Manager Adam Pearce told him that he’s done for the night and sent GUNTHER out of the building where AJ Styles was waiting on him, but the Phenomenal One didn’t say anything before GUNTHER got in his car and left.

This was quite a statement to make by GUNTHER. Only time will tell what his 2026 looks like.
