Gunther Escorted Out Of Building & Attacked During 2/23 WWE RAW

The February 23 episode of WWE RAW went down at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. That city has a lot of pro wrestling history, and those fans absolutely hate Gunther, and for good reason.

Over the past twelve months, Gunther has been on a tear as he retired one huge Superstar after another. Since he put Goldberg and AJ Styles out of comission, fans in Atlanta opened up the floodgates on booing him.

Gunther opened up WWE RAW this week, and he cut a promo on AJ Styles and Goldber. He wasn’t happy about how WWE is celebrating AJ Styles’ career tonight in Atlanta, and fans didn’t let him get much out without booing him out of the building.

Adam Pearce came out and he had Gunther escorted out of the building. On his way out of the arena, Dragon Lee jumped Gunther. Of course, Dragon Lee is a former tag team champion alongside AJ Styles, and he’s been going after Gunther since then.

This was a chaotic segment, but the message was also made very clear that they wanted to celebrate AJ Styles’ career in Atlanta tonight. In the meantime, Gunther couldn’t be around for the festivities.
