The June 30 episode of WWE RAW went down in Pittsburgh, and it included a lot after Night of Champions. That being said, Saturday Night’s Main Event got a big match added to the show.
In case you missed it, Seth Rollins stated this week on RAW that he went to Saudi Arabia for Night of Champions to prevent CM Punk from winning a World Title, a goal he has maintained for two years. Rollins also said GUNTHER is a future target.
CM Punk then interrupted and chased Rollins off, pushing GUNTHER and telling him to stay out of it. LA Knight appeared behind Rollins in the crowd, and they fought through the concourse. It was eventually announced that LA Knight will take on Seth Rollins during the next Saturday Night’s Main event show on July 12 at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena.
Later on, CM Punk approached LA Knight backstage. He wasn’t happy about how Knight got in his business with Seth Rollins. Then Knight told Punk that he “is the line” when it comes to getting in the back of any line, because he has this match.
Goldberg will take on WWE World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER at the Saturday Night’s Main Event as well. We will have to see what the company brings to Atlanta, but they certainly have a lot building right now.
