WWE’s holiday spirit just took a chaotic turn—and Grayson Waller is at the center of it.
To celebrate the festive season, WWE dropped a Christmas-themed video on Instagram featuring Waller dressed as The Grinch, sneaking around backstage trying to steal championship titles from unsuspecting Superstars.
His first victim? Dominik Mysterio, who was holding both the Intercontinental Championship and the AAA Mega Championship.
“I was gonna steal one of your titles. You’ve got two—mind if I take one? I saw you beat John Cena. That was lit,” Waller told Dom.
Dominik wasn’t having it, firing back with: “If you want to steal something, steal those raggedy shoes he left in the ring.”
Waller then admitted, “I hate John Cena,” to which Dom coolly responded, “He’s gone now.” But the holiday mood won out, as Dom even joked:
“Why don’t I let you borrow it? I’ll do this—(closes eyes)—oh no, where are my titles? See, that’s how you celebrate Christmas.”
Waller backed off, admitting, “I’ll steal someone else’s titles. You’re a good dude.” Next up was Bron Breakker, who immediately called out Waller’s Grinch cosplay.
“You know the real Grinch is Jim Carrey,” Bron said. “I hate you,” Waller snapped back, staying in full Grinch mode.
His next attempt came with zero dialogue—because GUNTHER wasn’t having it. When Waller crept up trying to swipe his title, GUNTHER simply stared him down.
“You know what? It’s all good. Don’t worry about it,” Waller muttered as he quickly backed away.
Last but not least, Waller tried his luck with Chelsea Green, who was holding both the AAA Mixed Tag Title and the Women’s U.S. Title. But the moment he touched her gold, she was on him.
“Oh! No, no, no!” Green yelled as Waller played it off with a weak excuse: “I was trying to clean your titles—they’re dirty. What?”
Green wasn’t buying it and asked: “Grinch, where’s my other championship?” That’s when Waller hit below the belt: “You’re not good enough for good titles.” Chelsea had the last word: “Disgusting. You’re on the naughty list.”
Grayson Waller’s Grinch act gave WWE fans a holiday treat—complete with deadpan comedy, awkward tension, and no titles stolen. Whether you love him or love to hate him, Waller playing the heel might be the most fitting Christmas content WWE could deliver.
