Grayson Waller is known for his confidence in the ring and often backs it up. With WrestleMania 41 coming up, he has now taken aim at wrestlers who complain about not getting opportunities in WWE.
The Australian star took to Twitter and talked about his plans before leaving Las Vegas. He said he was flying to Buffalo, which he called one of the worst places in America because of the freezing cold weather. He didn’t really want to go but had a great weekend representing the NRL and meeting friends at Allegiant Stadium, the home of WrestleMania 41.
“So I’m about to fly out of Vegas, heading to one of the worst places in America—Buffalo. Freezing cold, don’t really wanna go, but I had a great weekend. Got to represent the NRL, see some mates in Allegiant Stadium, home of WrestleMania 41.”
Thinking about last year’s WrestleMania, he said it was the best night of his life when A-Town Down Under won the tag team titles. He loved that feeling and wanted to experience it again. Now looking at WrestleMania 41, he wasn’t sure where he fit in, and that was hard for him.
“It made me think about WrestleMania last year—best night of my life. A-Town Down Under winning the tag team titles, oh man. I gotta admit, I got a little bit addicted to that feeling.
So I look at the landscape of WrestleMania 41—where does Grayson Waller fit in all that? To be honest, I don’t really know. And it kinda hits hard.”
Grayson Waller then said he had two choices. He could complain online like some other WWE wrestlers or talk to journalists about not getting opportunities, but instead of complaining, he decided to take action and make things happen for himself.
“I could be like some of the other flop wrestlers in WWE. I could bitch and moan and complain online. I could even run to ‘journalists’—and I use that term very lightly—and talk about how I’m not getting any opportunities. Or I could do something about it. And I’m gonna do something about it.”
With WrestleMania 41 taking place next month, we will have to wait and see whether Grayson Waller and Austin Theory will find a spot on the card for the highly anticipated event. After all, Waller has made it clear he will make things happen for himself and not just complain about it.
