Goldberg’s retirement tour might’ve never happened if it wasn’t for some serious science keeping his body held together. The WWE Hall of Famer is gearing up for what’s being billed as his final match next weekend, but according to Goldberg himself, none of it would’ve been possible without stem cell treatments.
Speaking on CarCast, the 58-year-old legend admitted that his body wasn’t holding up the way it used to—until he turned to BioXcellerator for help.
“Every second ticks by and I’m closer and closer,” Goldberg said. “I’ve worked my ass off since January, actually since February because I planned it out. I did the stem cells. I knew I had a number of weeks off. Let’s be perfectly honest, if BioXcellerator didn’t hook me up with the stem cells, I don’t think I’d be able to be doing this.”
Goldberg explained the process wasn’t as simple as jumping back into the gym. It took a full game plan to get his body ready for one more fight.
“And so that was something that I strategically needed to place at the beginning and so I could chill and then slowly get back into training and get my shoulder back and hopefully get my knee back and keep my spine aligned and there’s a lot that goes into it, man.”
The match is being promoted as his last ride—but Goldberg isn’t exactly slamming the door shut on his in-ring career. During a recent WWE Raw interview with Michael Cole, he hinted that walking away with gold might change everything.
“It will be an interesting dilemma,” Goldberg teased, making it clear that beating GUNTHER for the World Heavyweight Championship could throw his retirement plans out the window.
Goldberg’s last WWE match came in 2022 at Elimination Chamber, where he fell short against Roman Reigns. But after months of recovery and intense training, the powerhouse says he’s finally ready—and if things go his way, this might not be his farewell after all.
