Goldberg isn’t holding back anymore—and now he’s taking direct aim at WWE and Triple H over how his retirement was handled.

During a meet-and-greet on March 29, 2026, Goldberg was confronted by a fan about the moment his mic got cut off when he was giving his farewell speech after his retirement match—and things escalated fast. The fan kicked it off by calling out WWE for how the moment was handled, clearly still frustrated with how Goldberg’s sendoff played out: “You know what pissed me off? When WWE cut off your mic at your final match.”

Goldberg didn’t hold back with his response, firing off a sarcastic reaction that made it obvious he’s still upset about how things went down: “Yeah! What do you think it did for me? It made me really happy. It shows what disrespect they have for me.”

From there, the conversation turned toward who might’ve been behind the decision—and the fan didn’t hesitate to name Triple H: “What jackass was it? Was it Triple H who did that?” Goldberg’s answer didn’t exactly defend anyone as he said, “Probably.”

And when the fan doubled down with another shot at Triple H, saying, “He’s a jackass, man.” Goldberg backed it up without hesitation as he said, “100%.” Even with the frustration clear as day, Goldberg made it known he’s not losing sleep over it—but still feels like the situation could’ve been handled differently: “I ain’t worried about nothing. Could’ve shown a little respect.”

The comments build on Goldberg’s earlier disappointment about his retirement match against GUNTHER, where he had already criticized how his sendoff was handled. This time, though, the frustration is far more direct—with clear shots aimed at WWE leadership. For Goldberg, the issue isn’t just about how his career ended—it’s about how he was treated in that final moment, and whether the company gave him the respect he feels he earned.

Do you think Goldberg was disrespected by WWE during his retirement, or is this being blown out of proportion? Drop your thoughts below and let us know.
