Did WWE or Goldberg underdeliver?

Goldberg had a chance to deliver a speech after his Saturday Night’s Main event match, but it was very short on time. He may not have been very pleased with how everything went down that night.

Paul Heyman spoke to the Ariel Helwani Show, and he confirmed that Goldberg had very high expectations for that match. In the end, he got what he got, and he’s not going to shy away from letting people know that he’s not totally satisfied.

“Bill Goldberg had very, very high expectation in WWE. In Bill Goldberg’s mind, they weren’t met. I could say that Bill Goldberg was wrong. I could tell you that WWE was wrong. I can tell you that is how Bill Goldberg felt, and he’s not shy about letting you know how he feels.”

We will have to see if Goldberg comes back for another WWE cameo in the future. His last ride meant his final match, but you also never know if that retirement could be taken back, as it has for a few Superstars over the years.

Goldberg is a WWE Hall of Famer, and he left it all in the ring with GUNTHER at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Atlanta. He may not have been 100% happy about how things panned out, but there is a lot going on in WWE this year.
