Giulia’s rapid rise in WWE didn’t just require adapting to a new wrestling style — it also meant learning an entirely new language from scratch.
While speaking to Adrian Hernandez on the Unruly podcast, the WWE Women’s United States Champion opened up about the intense effort she puts into learning English and how it has become part of her daily routine since arriving in the company. Giulia explained that improving her English wasn’t optional — it was necessary to survive in WWE’s fast-moving environment. With talent and staff communicating quickly backstage, she knew early on that mastering the language would be essential to building relationships and succeeding long-term.
“Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. So me it means how to learn English, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah. So yeah, yeah. I go to English class twice a week. And then also I take extra extra English class. Yeah. And app. Like on the phone. Yeah, and just take some notes and YouTube. If I have time, I sit down. Study, study, study. So every day because my English was zero when I came here.”
