The upcoming WWE NXT Roadblock just got a major shake-up, as NXT Women’s Champion Giulia is reportedly dealing with an injury ahead of her title-for-title clash against North American Champion Stephanie Vaquer.
On the February 25, 2025, episode of WWE NXT, it was announced that the two champions would go head-to-head in a huge match at NXT Roadblock. However, Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live hinted that one of them is dealing with an issue that will impact the match’s outcome.
“Without spoiling it, because if I spoil it I spoil the match, one of these women is banged up, needs time off. And so they’re doing the match and then she’s taking time off. So that’s what happened.”
According to PWInsider.com, Giulia is the one nursing an injury, though the specifics of her condition haven’t been revealed. This could mean that her reign as NXT Women’s Champion is in jeopardy, especially with a title-for-title stipulation in place.
With NXT Roadblock just around the corner, all eyes will be on Giulia to see how she performs and whether WWE adjusts its plans based on her injury status.
