Giulia hasn’t laced up her boots since dropping the NXT Women’s Title to Stephanie Vaquer at NXT Roadblock—but don’t assume she’s out of the game just yet. While fans have speculated everything from injury to visa issues, a new report is giving a clearer picture of what’s really going on.

On the latest episode of the Fightful Select Podcast, Sean Ross Sapp was asked point-blank about Giulia’s absence after Jordynne Grace posted a video showing the star backstage at a recent NXT taping. His response added just enough fuel to keep the mystery burning. “I have asked half a dozen people in the company about this and they said that Giulia is around, but hasn’t been participating in class and drills since the Stephanie match,” Sapp said.

Then came the kicker—“One person mentioned like a possible ankle thing. I don’t know, I’m working on it, but I’ve heard that she has not been participating in classes.”

That would explain why Giulia hasn’t wrestled since Roadblock, despite appearing in a non-wrestling segment at an NXT live event on March 22 where she laid out Cora Jade. She’s present, she’s active in storylines, but she’s not training or taking bumps—at least for now.

WWE has yet to make any official announcement about her medical status, but behind the scenes, it looks like the company is treading carefully. While early plans had her penciled in for a triple threat at Stand & Deliver with Stephanie Vaquer and Jordynne Grace, the latest direction seems to be Vaquer vs. Grace in a singles match—with Jaida Parker possibly sliding into the third slot if things change again.

So is Giulia nursing a real injury or just laying low before her next big moment? Either way, WWE clearly isn’t done with the “Beautiful Madness.”

Should WWE give Giulia more time to heal up or fast-track her to WrestleMania 41? Think she’s better suited for NXT gold or a main roster debut? Sound off in the comments—let’s hear what you think.
