After a stormy departure from TNA earlier this year, Gail Kim is officially stepping back into the spotlight—on her own terms.

The wrestling legend confirmed on Twitter that she’s taking bookings and appearances again for 2026, months after internal shakeups led to her controversial firing from the company. Kim shared that she originally planned to take all of 2025 off, using the time to rest, recharge, and refocus. But now she’s ready to get back to work—just not in the ring.

“Said I was taking 2025 for myself and now I’m ready to grind again! 🙌🏼 it was a much needed time to reset ❤️ Taking bookings/appearances for 2026. Contact through my email in profile. Serious bookings only and I will not be open to wrestling matches, just an FYI…. I’m REALLY retired from that aspect 😉 When the universe clears your path, the return is inevitable.”

Kim emphasized that she’s truly done with in-ring competition and is only interested in media, speaking, or non-wrestling appearances. Still, her return to the public eye comes as welcome news to longtime fans.

This update also follows her public criticism back in July regarding the state of the Knockouts division. After Carlos Silva made comments about needing to “reinvigorate” the division, Kim revealed she had already been pushing for that for over a year.

“On comments recently about the KO division needing to be reinvigorated, I want to let it be known that I was pushing for that for a year plus before Carlos Silva came in. To grow homegrown talent and do more with the KO division. I was fighting for that since Scott departed.”

Her frustration over being sidelined was clear then—but her renewed energy now signals a fresh start. As one of the most respected voices in women’s wrestling, Kim’s presence on the scene—whether behind the curtain or at industry events—still matters.

With 2026 shaping up as a new chapter for Gail Kim, all eyes will be on what she chooses to do next. Whatever it is, one thing’s for sure: she’s calling the shots this time.

What kind of appearances would you like to see Gail Kim take on in 2026? Should she land back in a creative role somewhere, or keep it strictly outside the ropes? Let us know in the comments.
