Olympic Gold Medalist and former WWE Superstar Gable Steveson isn’t going to make Real American Freestyle a career move.

Gable Steveson has been busy, and he just kicked off with MMA career with a 1-0 record after a win at a PFL event. He is very happy about that transition, and he doesn’t think he will change that focus.

While speaking to Ariel Helwani, Gable Steveson was asked about the new Real American Freestyle company, one that Hulk Hogan founded. While giving a tribute to The Hulkster, Gable Steveson noted that he did watch their first special event.

“I thought it was a great first event — rest in peace Hulk Hogan, he’s a WWE legend and entertainment — I thought it was a great first event. I thought everyone wrestled fantastic, and good for them. Very good for them.”

When asked whether he is interested in participating in the freestyle wrestling promotion, Gable Steveson said that he wasn’t. At this time, he is going to keep his focus with MMA.

“Right now, no. Right now, I had the biggest rush of my life putting on those gloves and getting a victory, I wanna keep it that way.”

We will have to see what Gable Steveson does next in his career. Right now, the PFL is giving him a home, and he seems very dedicated to this next chapter.

Gable Steveson’s time with the Buffalo Bills was a short-lived one, so he got to training with Jon Jones. That being said, he’s still only 25-years-old, so he has a lot of choices to make in his career that could translate into big things.
