Gabe Kidd is known for always speaking his mind and calling out things he thinks are wrong, and no one is off-limits. In fact, he even called out The Rock and threatened to slap him after seeing him wear an NJPW shirt.

While speaking to MuscleManMalcolm, Gabe Kidd was asked about the video of The Rock wearing a New Japan shirt while playing with a Rubik’s Cube, since the video got a lot of people talking.

Gabe Kidd responded by saying that The Rock was just trying to get attention and that he didn’t care about him at all. Gabe Kidd said if The Rock ever came to New Japan, he’d have no problem slapping up The Final Boss. He brushed it off by pointing out that it’s just Dwayne Johnson, the actor from Jumanji 2.

“He’s trying to catch a buzz off. Listen, couldn’t care less. Couldn’t care less about Dwayne. If he wants to come to New Japan, I’ll slap him up. No problem. It’s Dwayne Johnson, bro. It’s Dwayne Johnson. Wow. He was in Jumanji 2.”

We have also previously reported that New Japan Pro Wrestling was caught off guard by The Rock’s video since they had no frame of reference for it and weren’t informed about it beforehand.

Gabe Kidd calling out The Rock shows why he’s known as one of the most outspoken names in the business right now. Nonetheless, we’ll have to wait and see if The Final Boss will respond to what Kidd had to say.
