WWE’s latest round of talent tryouts went down during SummerSlam weekend in New Jersey, and the lineup was stacked with international wrestlers, standout athletes, and crossover personalities hoping to land a developmental deal.
According to a compiled list from Twitter user Alex, the tryouts included independent wrestling names, college sports stars, and even models and influencers. Among the group was Vert Vixen, European standouts Rayne Leverkusen — who was named MVP of the tryout — and LJ Cleary, along with other notable prospects like Daga, Ben Bishop, and CBL.
WWE’s interest in athletes from all walks of life was on full display. The tryout roster featured a World Taekwondo Champion, football players, track stars, gymnasts, models, and even an actor with major stunt work credits.
In addition to the established names, the company also evaluated multiple NIL athletes and developmental prospects already in the WWE system. The mix of talent showed WWE’s ongoing commitment to scouting both experienced wrestlers and raw athletic prospects they can mold into future stars.
