AEW Worlds End 2025 went down at the NOW Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois. This was AEW’s final show of the year, and Tony Khan wanted to make a lot of matches memorable.
The AEW World Tag Team Championship was on the line in a Chicago Street Fight, as FTR Cash Wheeler and Dax “The Axe” Harwood defended the titles against the Bang Bang Gang team of Juice Robinson and Austin Gunn.
This match went down at around the 9:00 PM hour, and everyone in the building was ready to see the fur fly. The veteran team of Dax and Cash took their opponents out at ringside with some brutal assaults.
They fought all around the ringside area, which gave fans what they expected out of a street fight match. This match got some weapons involved as well, and fans were all with it.
This wasn’t a match without blood, either. Stokley Hathaway also took a brutal bump off the apron, where he skidded off a ladder. Then FTR hit a Shatter Machine for one of the match’s many near falls.
In the end, FTR was able to pull off the win and walk away with the tag team gold. Only time will tell what AEW brings to the table next, but this was quite a match for the tag team division.
