Triple H helps Owens
Triple H has not been seen on WWE television since his Wrestlemania defeat to Seth Rollins, which means around now is a nice time for him to return to begin his Wrestlemania storyline.
While having Triple H help Shane would set up a potential match between Owens and Hunter at Mania, having him help Owens could see him set up the long rumoured match with Shane McMahon.
Having Triple H and Stephanie go to war with Shane and Vince over control for the company would be a great storyline heading into Survivor Series, where both sides could assemble their teams to go to war.
Sure, another Authority storyline is not what we need, but if the future of the company is put on the line, and done believably, there is no reason fans can’t get invested in this one.
WWE also never explained Triple H helping Owens win the Universal Title last year, and it never built on the rumoured stable involving Owens, Joe and Triple H from the start of the year either. This could be a nice way to tie everything together, even if it is a bit tentative.
